Benban Infinity Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 95.38 hectares.
The project generates 148,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 20,000 households, offsetting 64,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The project consists of 95,040 modules, each with 320W nameplate capacity.
The project consists of 103,680 modules, each with 325W nameplate capacity.
80 inverters have been installed at the project site.
Development status
The project got commissioned in March 2018.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Egyptian Electricity Transmission under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.07kWh for a period of 25 years.
