The project is being developed by Bhilangana Hydro Power, Swasti Power Engineering and Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam. The project is currently owned by Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam with a stake of 100%.

Contractors involved

Bhilangana (Bhilangana I) will be equipped with Andritz Hydro francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 7.5MW nameplate capacity.

Bhilangana (Bhilangana III) will be equipped with Voith Hydro Holding francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 8MW nameplate capacity.

Andritz Hydro will supply electric generator(s) for the Bhilangana (Bhilangana I).

Voith Hydro Holding is expected to supply 3 electric generators for the Bhilangana (Bhilangana III). The generator capacity is likely to be 12.24 MVA.
