Description

The project was developed by EDF Energies Nouvelles Mexico S de RL de CV and Eolia Renovables de Inversiones SCR. The project is co-owned by EDF Energies Nouvelles Mexico S de RL de CV and Mitsui, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

The project generates 641,240MWh electricity thereby offsetting 417,787t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $404m.

Grupo Herdez and Wal-Mart de Mexico SAB de CV are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved
