Description

The project is developed and owned by K-Electric. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is regasified liquefied natural gas. In case of shortage of regasified liquefied natural gas the plant can also run on High Speed Diesel. The fuel is procured from Port Qasim LNG Terminal, Pakistan LNG Ltd.
