The project is being developed by Algonquin Power & Utilities and Windlectric. Algonquin Power & Utilities and InfraRed Capital Partners are currently owning the project.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the Blue Hills Project (Blue Hills Project-I) will be sold to SaskPower International under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 175MW.

Blue Hills Project (Blue Hills Project-I) will be equipped with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SG 5.0-145 turbines. The phase consists of 35 turbines with 5MW nameplate capacity.
