Description

The project is being developed by Griffin Energy Group. The project is co-owned by Sumitomo and The Kansai Electric Power, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant that will be used for Baseload. The fuel will be procured from Griffin Coal’s Ewington I and II Mines.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in June 2009.
