Description

The project is being developed by Atlas Renewable Energy USA. Others, Atlas Renewable Energy USA and Hydro Rein Invest are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 33.34%, 33.33% and 33.33% respectively.

Boa Sorte Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 1,782 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 815,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 397,339 households. The project is expected to offset 61,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Albras Aluminio Brasileiro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.

Contractors involved

Jinko Power will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to install 803,880 modules at the site.

The inverters are expected to be procured from Sungrow Power for the project.
