Description
The project was developed by Churchill Stateside Group, Cypress Creek Renewables, Entropy Investment Management, Intermountain Energy Partners and Origis Energy USA. The project is currently owned by Sustainable Power Group.
Boise Solar Farm is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 563 acres.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 29,000 households. The project cost is $123.042m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in May 2016.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Idaho Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.072kWh for a period of 20 years.
Contractors involved
Depcom Power was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Jinko Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 174,800 modules at the site.
SMA Solar Technology supplied 20 of its SC2200 inverters to the project site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.
Depcom Power is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
