Description
The project is being developed by Cegelec and GE Power. The project is currently owned by Sonelgaz with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Diesel Fuel.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2012. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by January 2019.
