Briel Farm Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 230 acres.
The project generates 46,685MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households, offsetting 34,744t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $28.28m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Shell Energy North America (US) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 10 years from 2020. The contracted capacity is 20MW.
