The project is currently owned by Onward Energy with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine with Cogen power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Transco.
The project generated 380,265MWh of electricity.
Development status
The project got commissioned in June 2000.

The power generated from the project is sold to Duke Energy under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 985MW.
