Description
The project is being developed by Renovables de Buniel. Renovables de Buniel and Caja Rural De Soria, Sociedad Cooperativa De Credito are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75% and 25% respectively.
The project is expected to generate 283,000MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 70,000 households. The project is expected to offset 39,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Contractors involved
Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company is expected to provide 20 turbines, each with 5.2MW nameplate capacity.
