Description

The project was developed by Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings. Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings and Korea Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 62% and 38% respectively.

Calatagan Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 160 hectares.

The project generates 88,620MWh electricity thereby offsetting 44,310t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in February 2016.

Contractors involved

Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by Canadian Solar, JA Solar and Trina Solar.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 830 of its SMA Sunny Tripower 60TL-10 inverters to the project site.
