Description
Caltagirone Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 38 hectares.
The project generates 17,900MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 5,000 households, offsetting 8,900t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $53.64m.

The project got commissioned in 2011.

Inspira Infrastructure and Voltalia Portugal were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
First Solar was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
FIMER supplied its PVI 330.0 inverters to the project site.
