Description

The project was developed by Axium Infrastructure, ENGIE North America, Mitsui and Sea Breeze Power. ENGIE North America, Axium Infrastructure and Mitsui are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 30% and 30% respectively.

The project generates 316GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 100,000 households.

The Tubular Steel towers installed at the project site are 80m high.

Development status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in January 2014.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to BC Hydro under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2014. The contracted capacity is 99MW.

Contractors involved

Amec Black & McDonald was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 55 units of V100-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
