The project generates 365,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 248,111t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in September 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Administracion Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Electricas under a power purchase agreement.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Carape Mountain Wind Farm (Carape Mountain Wind Farm I) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems KD-6205 turbines. The phase consists of 17 turbines with 3.075MW nameplate capacity.

Carape Mountain Wind Farm (Carape Mountain Wind Farm II) is equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V112-3.075 turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines with 3.075MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the Carape Mountain Wind Farm (Carape Mountain Wind Farm I). The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2015, for a period of 17 years.
