The project was developed by Parque Solar Carrera Pinto and is currently owned by Sonnedix with a stake of 100%.

Carrera Pinto Enel Green Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 180 hectares.

The project generates 260,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 122,000 households, offsetting 127,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 230,000 modules.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2015 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in January 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Enel Generacion Chile under a power purchase agreement.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Convert Italia.
