Description

The project was developed by CEPO Handa Biomass Power Generation. Cenergy and Fuluhashi EPO are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 90% and 10% respectively.

The project generates 370GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 119,000 households, offsetting 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product and wood by-product are used as a feedstock to power the project.

The project got commissioned in October 2019.
