Description
The project was developed by CEZ Romania, Continental Wind Partners and Monsson Group. The project is currently owned by Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets.
The project generates 1,185GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 1,400,000 households. The project cost is $1,400m.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Axpo Holding under a power purchase agreement for a period of 7 years from 2021. The contracted capacity is 300MW.

GE Renewable Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 240 units of 2.5-100 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2010.
