Chakothi-Hattian Hydropower Project is a run-of-river project. The gross head of the project will be 155m. The project is expected to generate 2,440 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 4 turbines, each with 125MW nameplate capacity.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to National Transmission & Despatch under a power purchase agreement for a period of 30 years.
