Description

The project was developed by Fuzhou Strait Power Generation. China Three Gorges and Fujian Funeng are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 65% and 35% respectively.

The wind turbines in the Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm Phase I are installed on fixed foundations. An array of suction pile jacket foundations feature in the phase.

Contractors involved

Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm (Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm Phase I) is equipped with Goldwind Science & Technology turbines. The phase consists of 14 turbines, each with 6.7MW nameplate capacity.

Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm (Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm Phase II A) is equipped with Goldwind Science & Technology GW175-8.0MW turbines. The phase consists of 13 turbines with 8MW nameplate capacity.

Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm (Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm Phase II B) is equipped with Dongfang Electric turbines. The phase consists of 10 turbines, each with 10MW nameplate capacity.

China Hydropower Fourth Bureau (Fuqing) Equipment Engineering has supplied towers for the Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm (Changle Area A Offshore Wind Farm Phase II A).
