Description
The project is being developed by Huaneng Chaohu Power Generation. Huaneng Power International, Huainan Mining Group and China Huaneng Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 30% and 10% respectively.
It is a Steam Turbine power plant.

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in August 2008.
