Description

The project was developed by Enel Green Power Panama and is currently owned by Enel Americas with a stake of 100%.

Chiriqui Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 23 hectares.

The project generates 19,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 16,000 households, offsetting 15,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 39,640 modules.

The project got commissioned in May 2015.

Contractors involved

Biosar Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Power Electronics Espana supplied its HEC PLUS inverters to the project site.
