Description

The project was developed by Guodian Diqing Shangri-la Limited Liability. China Energy Investment, Yunnan Dianneng (Group) Holding, Yunnan Investment Holding Group and Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture Development Investment Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 35.06%, 26.32%, 20.62% and 18% respectively.

Chongjianghe is a reservoir based project.

Chongjianghe (Chongjianghe Phase II) consists of 2 turbines with 24MW nameplate capacity.

The Chongjianghe (Chongjianghe Phase II) has 2 electric generators installed at the site. The generator capacity is 24 MVA.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 1985 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1990.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to China Southern Power Grid under a power purchase agreement.

Chongjianghe (Chongjianghe Phase I) is equipped with Addnew Hydropower Limited & Addnew Technologies francis turbines. The phase consists of 3 turbines with 6.3MW nameplate capacity.
