Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Atinkou. The company has a stake of 100%.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Heavy Fuel Oil / Diesel. The fuel will be procured from Foxtrot pipeline.

CIPREL CCGT Power Plant Phase V (CIPREL CCGT Power Plant Phase V Gas Turbine) will be equipped with Siemens Energy SGT5-4000F gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 255MW nameplate capacity.

CIPREL CCGT Power Plant Phase V (CIPREL CCGT Power Plant Phase V Steam Turbine) will be equipped with Siemens Energy SST5-3000 steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 135MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens Energy is expected to be the supplier electric generator for the project.

Siemens Energy is expected to perform operations and maintenance for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
