The project is being developed by Corbetti Geothermal. Berkeley energy, InfraCo Africa, Meridiam and Reykjavik Geothermal are currently owning the project.
Corbetti Geothermal Power Project will run at a temperature of 250 Degree Celsius.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Ethiopian Electric Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 150MW.
Mitsubishi and SEPCO Electric Power Construction are expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Corbetti Geothermal Power Project (Corbetti Phase I ).
