Description

The project was developed by PLG Power. The project is currently owned by Zamil Group Holding with a stake of 49% and PLG Power.

Dahisar-PLG Zamil Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 107 acres.

The project generates 360GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 34,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in December 2011.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.33kWh for a period of 25 years.

Contractors involved

Zamil New Delhi Infrastructure Private was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Kyocera was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 85,000 modules at the site.
