Description
The project is currently owned by CEZ with a stake of 100%.
It is a Steam Turbine with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is black coal. In case of shortage of black coal the plant can also run on Natural Gas. The fuel is procured from Ostrava-Karvina Mines.

The project got commissioned in May 1975.

Doosan Skoda Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 4 units of 3-Stage, Common Shaft turbines, each with 200MW nameplate capacity.
