Description

Enel Americas, YPF and Pan American Energy are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

The project generated 4,974,270MWh of electricity.

The project got commissioned in June 2001.

The power generated from the project is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 797.5MW.
