Description

The project was developed by Enel and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV. Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec, CKD Infraestructura Mexico and Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40.8%, 39.2% and 20% respectively.

The project generates 250GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 143,000 households, offsetting 140,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in July 2015.

Power purchase agreement

Hsbc Casa De Bolsa and Robert Bosch are the power offtakers from the project.

Contractors involved

Enel Green Power Mexico S de RL de CV was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of V100-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Dominica Energia Limpia S.de R.L. de is the O&M contractor for the wind power project, commencing from the year 2015.
