Description

Dukovany 5 is a Generation III+ nuclear reactor being developed by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power, the main contractor for the project.

The 1,055MW reactor is currently owned and will be operated by Elektrarna Dukovany II. The company has a stake of 100%.

Dukovany 5 is a type of PWR reactor. It will feature 177 fuel assemblies in the core of reactor, the place where fission occurs and energy is released.
