Description
The project was developed by Sustainable Power Group and is currently owned by The AES with a stake of 50%.
East Line Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 344 hectares.
The project generates 277,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 200,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $185.841m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2020.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Salt River Project under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 100MW.
