Description
The project was developed by AES Andes. AES Andes and Ecopetrol are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 67% and 33% respectively.
Ecopetrol San Fernando Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 47 hectares.
The project cost is $108.58m.
The project consists of 113,000 modules, each with 530W nameplate capacity.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2021.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Ecopetrol under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years.
