Description

The project was developed by Norsk Vind Energi and is currently owned by Luxcara.

The project generates 400GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 20,000 households, offsetting 240,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Axpo Nordic under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years from 2017. The contracted capacity is 112.2MW.

Contractors involved

Senvion was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 33 units of 3.4M114 turbines, each with 3.4MW nameplate capacity.

Senvion is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2017, for a period of 15 years.

The wind power project consists of 93m high towers supplied by Senvion.
