Description

The project was developed by Planta FV3 and Solventia Solar Energy. The project is currently owned by Solaria Energia y Medio Ambiente.

El Baldio 2019 Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 54 hectares.

The project generates 40GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,200 households, offsetting 282,800t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

5 inverters have been installed at the project site.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in September 2019.

Contractors involved

Risen Energy was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 53,536 modules each with 370W of nameplate capacity.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by STI Norland.
