Description
The project was developed by Grupo T-Solar Global. Excelsior Renewable Energy Investment Fund I, Mitsubishi HC Capital and Shikoku Electric Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 35.7% and 14.3% respectively.
El Centro Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 53 hectares.
The project generates 55,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 14,000 households, offsetting 13,678t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development status
The project got commissioned in December 2013.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Imperial Irrigation District under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Yingli Green Energy Holding was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 102,000 modules at the site.
