The project was developed by Inversiones Empresariales Vapat, S.L.U.
The project generates 173,400MWh electricity thereby offsetting 56,500t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Contractors involved
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 26 units of V90-2.0 MW turbines, each with 2MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Mediterranean is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 12 years.
