Description

The project was developed by RES Australia and is currently owned by Lighthouse Infrastructure Management with a stake of 100%.

Emerald - Telstra Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 160 hectares.

The project generates 198,800MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 66,343t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in February 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Telstra Group under a power purchase agreement from 2019. The contracted capacity is 68MW.

Contractors involved

RCR Tomlinson was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 250,000 modules at the site.

ENcome Energy Performance Australia and RCR Tomlinson were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
