Description
The project is being developed by Energia Sierra Juarez U.S. Transmission, Infraestructura Energetica Nova SAB de CV, InterGen and Saavi Energia S de RL de CV. Others and Sempra Energy are currently owning the project.

Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the Energia Sierra Juarez Wind Farm (Energia Sierra Juarez Wind Farm I) will be sold to San Diego Gas & Electric under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $820m for a period of 20 years, starting from 2015. The capacity to be procured is 155.1MW.
