Description

The project was developed by EOS Holding and Grande Dixence SA Joint Venture. Axpo Solutions, Axpo Power, BKW Energie, Centralschweizerische Kraftwerke and Electricite de France are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 29.25%, 19.5%, 19.5%, 19.5% and 9.75% respectively.

Fionnay Mauvoisin is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 204 million cubic meter. Fionnay Mauvoisin underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1998-2006. The project generated 278 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 46MW nameplate capacity.
