Description

The project was developed by Sun Ba Power. Taiwan Cogeneration, Others and JERA are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 43%, 37.5% and 19.5% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

The project construction commenced in 2001 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in March 2004.
