Description

The project is being developed by Fujairah Power Co F3. Abu Dhabi National Energy, Marubeni and Mubadala Investment are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 40% and 20% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Hydrogen.

Development status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2024.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Emirates Water and Electricity under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Samsung C&T is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project will be supplied by Doosan Enerbility and Mitsubishi Power.
