Description

The project was developed by Pingtan Offshore Wind Power. Datang International Power Generation and Pingtan Communications Investment Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 80% and 20% respectively.

The wind turbines in the project are installed on fixed foundations. An array of high pile cap foundations feature in the project.

The project generates 774,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 540,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Contractors involved

Jiangsu Longyuan Zhenhua Marine Engineering and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries were selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

China Ming Yang Wind Power Group was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 37 units of MySE5.5-155 turbines, each with 5MW nameplate capacity.
