Description
The project is currently owned by Energeticky a Prumyslovy Holding with a stake of 100%.
The project generates 970GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 440,000 households, offsetting 600,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood waste which is a kind of wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Contractors involved
Doosan Skoda Power was selected as the steam turbine supplier for the project. The company provided 1 unit of NON OEM turbine with 160MW nameplate capacity.
Doosan Lentjes supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 441TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 566°C. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 165bar.
