Description

The project was developed by Canadian Solar and Recurrent Energy. Southern Power and AIP Management PS are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

Garland Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 2,000 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 50,000 households.

The project construction commenced in 2015 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in December 2016.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Southern California Edison under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 200MW.

Signal Energy Constructors was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 723,000 modules at the site.

TMEIC supplied 1 inverters to the project site.

TMEIC supplied 111 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Array Technologies.
