Description

The project was developed by Assignia Infraestructuras, Enlight Renewable Energy and Grupo Essentium. Enlight Renewable Energy, Others and Menora Mivtachim Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 72%, 14.7% and 13.3% respectively.

The project generates 337,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 260,000 households, offsetting 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project construction commenced in 2021 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in July 2022.

Contractors involved

Nordex was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 69 units of N149/4.0-4.5 turbines, each with 4.8MW nameplate capacity.

Nordex is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2022, for a period of 20 years.

The wind power project consists of Concrete towers supplied by Nordex. These towers are around 120m high.

The rotor blades have been supplied by Nordex.
