Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by 174 Power Global and TotalEnergies. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.
Gerdau Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 700 acres.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 13,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $80.8m.
The solar power project consists of 231,000 modules.
Development status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2021. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.
Power purchase agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Gerdau Long Steel North America under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years.
