Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Altura Group and Delta Electricity. The owners have 50% stake in the project respectively.

Goat Hill is a pumped storage project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 4.5 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project will be 200m. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, is expected to be 1 in number. The penstock length will be 1,000m. The penstock diameter will be 6m. The project is expected to generate 2,000 GWh of electricity.
