Description

The project is developed and owned by Rotor Elektrik Uretim.

The project generates 500,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 170,000 households, offsetting 302,675t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $177m.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Enerji Piyasasi Duzenleme Kurumu under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 135MW.

Contractors involved

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 54 units of 2.5-100 turbines, each with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
