Description

Toyota Tsusho and Yanmar Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 52.2% and 26.1% respectively.

The project generates 86GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 11,500 households.

The process of combustion has been adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Wood by-product is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development status

The project got commissioned in July 2015.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to The Chugoku Electric Power under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 10.8MW.
